One aim of Peace through Development II (PDev II) is to foster moderate voices and attitudes through radio programming.
Radio Canal Esperance (Radio Canal Hope) in Niamey, Niger has received material support including sound decks and computers, as well as programming and production support from PDev II. Their broadcasts discuss various issues including the emancipation of women, religion, extremism and farming. This particular program, broadcast September 28, 2016 promotes women’s health.
