Sohini Sarkar

Program Operations Director, COMAC

Sohini has more than 20 years of experience in humanitarian, transitional, and development programming, having worked with numerous international organizations. She served as the Director, Capture and Business Development for University Research Consortium, LLC where she oversaw development and implementation of new business strategy. She was previously Senior Program Development Manager at Global Communities where she led capture and proposal writing, while managing regional and sector-specific growth strategies. Sohini also worked as a journalist at the Economic Times in New Delhi, India.

Sohini has a master’s degree in international relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University, in India; and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Presidency College, India. She speaks fluent Bengali and Hindi.
