Refugees Engage in Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Jordan

Both women and men at Za’atari camp in Jordan recently participated in workshops that showcased the camp’s innovation.

This video highlights both workshops: one where women learned the science behind making perfume and developed scents of their own with our partner Givaudan, and one where 40 men from Za’atari camp collaborated with scientists and engineers from Sheffield University to turn recycled materials into functional wheelchairs for persons with disabilities, as well as windmills to provide electricity and window boxes to grow food and herbs.
