Laylan 1 Camp’s Women’s Center recently held a charity exhibition market to showcase products hand made by the women who participate in the Center’s activities.
Attended by most of the camp service providers, the exhibition featured handicrafts, sewing and knitting products and was meant to encourage the women to be independent and nurture their own skills. The event also made a positive psychological impact on participants.

This exhibition was held as part of Blumont’s Camp Coordination and Camp Management/Conflict Resolution and Resilience Building (CCCM/C2RB) programs. CCCM provides camp management in four camps for internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Iraq, including accommodation and community mobilization activities. C2RB improves the lives of individuals in Iraq by identifying and implementing solutions to mitigate violence and conflict among IDPs and host communities. They are both funded by UNHCR.
