Ashok Regmi

Ashok Regmi is a seasoned executive with more than 25 years of experience advancing positive youth development, civic engagement, and institutional leadership. He serves as Chief Executive Officer of Street Law, Inc., where he leads the organization’s mission to deliver civic and law-related education that empowers individuals to strengthen their communities across the United States and internationally.
Previously, Mr. Regmi was a senior executive at the International Youth Foundation, where he led institutional strategic planning, oversaw complex multi-country program portfolios spanning more than 30 countries, and built high-impact partnerships across the private sector, government, and civil society. Earlier in his career, he worked with Nepal’s Ministry of Information, implementing community-based radio initiatives to expand access to information and civic participation. He also co-founded Nepal’s first FM radio station and played a key role in scaling it nationally, while collaborating closely with members of the Nepalese Parliament on the development of national youth policy.
Mr. Regmi holds a master’s degree in public policy from Johns Hopkins University and has been featured in leading global publications, including the Financial Times. A frequent speaker at prominent international forums such as the United Nations, World Bank, and Inter-American Development Bank, he was also profiled in the book Compassionate Careers. He currently serves on several boards, including a global leadership development consortium representing more than 200 institutions.
