Carla Clemons

Director, Internal Audit

Carla is responsible for setting Blumont’s field finance standards, and for monitoring compliance with both Blumont and donor policies. Bringing with her more than fifteen years of experience in field finance, Carla oversees finance and accounting training for Blumont’s overseas field offices and serves as the primary point of contact between program auditors and Blumont HQ. She also coordinates closely with the Program Quality & Learning (PQL) team on all program level financial management, compliance, and reporting.

Prior to joining Blumont in 2018, Carla held leadership positions at the US Department of State Iraq Reconstruction Management Office, and the US Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.

Carla holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University.
