Daniel Bichanich

Chief of Party, Essential Services in Syria

Based in Jordan, Dan leads the USAID-funded Syria Essential Services, Good Governance, and Economic Recovery task order under the Building Resilient and Inclusive Communities in Conflict (BRICC) IDIQ. He is responsible for overall project management and impact, and coordinates with USAID, project partners, and other stakeholders to ensure quality work and contract compliance.

Dan previously worked with Blumont to lead the Syria Essential Services II program. He has more than 15 years of experience implementing programs around the world, including Afghanistan, the Philippines, Italy, Germany, Ethiopia, Jordan, Lebanon, and Burkina Faso. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
