Geoff Hughes

Director, Global Security & Risk Management

Geoff oversees and coordinates risk management and security planning for Blumont’s global operations. Geoff brings significant experience leading crisis mitigation and response efforts for U.S. and European international organizations working in complex and conflict-prone environments throughout Africa and the Middle East.

Prior to joining Blumont, Geoff worked as the Director of Global Security and Operations for the National Democratic Institute where he was responsible for the physical security of more than 1,500 staff members working in more than 70 countries. He also led the design and implementation of the organization’s risk management framework.
