Richard D. George

Mr. George has been involved in government and public finance and post-secondary educational finance and philanthropy since beginning his career in 1972. He served as the founding chairman of the Wisconsin Covenant Foundation, the first privately funded statewide promise program in Wisconsin. He previously served as a Director and Chairman of the Finance and Audit Committee of the Board of Directors of the National Student Clearinghouse and as a designee of the U.S. Comptroller General and the U.S. Secretary of Education to the study group for the Study of the Feasibility of Alternative Financial Instruments for Determining Lender Yields.
