Chief Business Development Officer

Leveraging 18 years’ experience, Velora leads Blumont’s business development efforts—overseeing the development and execution of the corporate new business strategy.

Prior to joining Blumont, Velora was the Vice President of Business Development Operations at Creative Associates International where she managed business development strategy and oversaw global pursuits. She held a similar role at ACDI/VOCA as Senior Director for Business Development where she led capture and proposal development teams to align with corporate objectives and achieve growth targets. Velora worked for over a decade at Booz Allen Hamilton, primarily as a Department of Defense portfolio manager for the Air Force Language, Regional Expertise and Culture program and policy office.

Velora holds a bachelor’s in geography (geopolitics) and a master’s in European studies.
