From 2014-2015, we partnered with the World Food Programme to aid Ukrainians during the conflict, delivering the first United Nations-funded relief packages, to 25,000 people living near the frontline in Luhansk Oblast. We distributed packages (including food, blankets, hygiene items, and more) door-to-door, prioritizing highly vulnerable people including persons with disabilities, the elderly, pregnant women, and families with children. Our teams coordinated with both the Ukrainian government and rebel groups to facilitate crossing between the territories and safely provide food and essential items to populations in rebel-controlled territories.
