From 2014-2015, amidst conflict and a rapidly approaching winter in Ukraine, our teams provided emergency relief to 11,025 conflict-affected people residing in Luhansk and Donetsk Oblasts, conflict frontlines, and rebel-controlled areas. We distributed cash grants and vouchers to help households purchase essential supplies for the winter, make repairs to shelters, and pay for temporary housing. We also offered in-kind shelter assistance, such as roofing slates and windows, to keep Ukrainian families living in stable areas warm and safe during the harsh winter months.
