Blumont’s Sindh Community Mobilization Program (CMP) celebrated Global Handwashing Day on October 15, 2018 at Government Boys Primary School, Weeharabad, Kemari Town, Karachi, Pakistan.
For the event, students and teachers performed demonstrations and gave speeches for parents, teachers, and school management committee members to highlight the importance of proper handwashing to prevent the spread of disease. The video below showcases highlights from the event.

CMP is a USAID-funded program that supports the Government of Sindh’s education reform and USAID’s Sindh Basic Education Program. CMP improves school resources and encourages community support for educational reform in Sindh province while identifying and addressing primary barriers to access, particularly for female students.
