HSISR Community Health Volunteers (CHVs) recently finished three crucial trainings held in Amman, Jordan.
As part of IRD/Blumont’s Health Support for Iraqi and Syrian Refuges (HSISR) program, 43 refugee CHVs (from Amman, Zarqa, Salt, Ma’an, Karak, and Madaba governorates) completed three basic capacity building training days on the topics of community health volunteering and communication skills. The trainings were conducted at the Ayass hotel and delivered by Subject Matter Trainers (SMT) using the IRC manual as a base, in addition to some other materials provided by the trainer.
